elhater This is music that touches the soul. The lyrics are inspiring and the work on the riffs is amazing. Very few bands get to create a song so beautiful like "Time to let Go" or "Between" let alone a full album. But somehow they managed to do it in "The liberation" Favorite track: Time To Let Go (Single Edit).

Eliud Vazquez The Liberation was my favorite album of 2019 and this track that was previously exclusive to Patreon is finally available to everyone. Rounding out this release is the single edit version of Time To Let Go, which is unique enough from the album version to not feel like a tacked on extra.

Kirk Gauthier This is such a lovely collection of songs. The A-side was originally exclusive to the band’s Patreon subscribers, and the B-side is the video edit of the song from their previous album. “Between” is a beautifully structured piece whereas the new edit of “Time to Let Go” is some fine melodic death metal. A fun little treat to keep fans excited for their next album. Favorite track: Time To Let Go (Single Edit).

In autumn 2019, German progressive metal innovators Disillusion returned with "The Liberation", making many a critic and fan’s best-of lists at the end of the year and following up with an equally successful row of concerts across Europe.

This fantastic comeback would not have been possible without fan support via the band's Patreon campaign. There, patrons received the bonus track 'Between', which “feels like a hymn to honesty and hope in the face of uncertainty, a world of anxiety, changes and new beginnings,” Schmidt says. “We want to share a feeling of trust, the notion of a silver lining to the dark clouds we are seeing."

Eventually, ‘Between’ was just too good to remain unavailable to the majority - so here it is in classic 7" single format (limited to 500 copies) to shorten the wait for Disillusions fourth full-length, which is already in the making! The b-side features the video edit of ‘Time To Let Go’ from “The Liberation”, which is herewith released on a physical product for the first time.
